  1. Awesome slides, Tarquin looks different without his makeover 😉

  2. Does the Tesla app actually handle the queueing for chargers now? I've only ever had one instance and that was several years ago, and it didn't then, but I was hoping they would fix that!

    1. Ian Bradford The Tesla app:
      1. Tells you ahead of arrival how many bays will be likely available.
      2. Warns you when you need to move your car.
      3. Imposed penalties of you don’t move it after charging.
      4. Limits the default max charge when it’s busy.
      5. Routes you to a less busy charger.

      1. Tesla Tripping if the charger is busy it will also tell you the estimated wait time if there is a queue. At the same time then I think it has the option to route to a less busy charger. I'm pretty sure the estimated wait time is based on how many cars are expected to arrive just before you and that are still charging. But only knows about the cars that have trip planner working at the time and a charge location set in that trip.

      2. Tesla Tripping I can't believe that Tesla don't actually create a virtual queue in the navigation, depending on the order you arrive at a charger that is full! Some locations (like Wodonga) just don't have room for a physical queue, and it would be great if Tesla showed you on the screen what number you are and when it's your turn. They could even not allow the charger to start if you jumped the queue..... 😄 Hopefully not an issue too often now, but would be a much better solution!

      3. Ian Bradford Agreed. A virtual queue in all of the charging apps would be useful. At least Tesla has some other access management features in place.

  4. But all those wasted weekends? 😛

Seriously though, I'm sure you're bringing more onboard than you realise. Word of mouth and these meets and presentations have got to be doing that, surely. You're great ambassadors.

  5. One thing I’ve found with the Tesla is that it’s a more relaxing drive. It’s not just that it’s smoother and quieter, but I think with a lower centre of gravity there’s less motion and therefore less impact on your body.
