Heading further across the high plains in the Snowy Mountains. Not a lot of trees around, but a few wind turbines and windmills, not bothering the livestock or mobs of kangaroos.

commenting as a local - NOT bothering the wedgetail eagles either… if one dead eagle had been found at the base of one these 67 turbines - there would have been an outcry by the opponents of the (next proposed) Coonerang wind farm (25-33 turbines)… on another ‘matter’ - I think that section of the Snowy River Way (Dalgety to near Ando) is one of the great drives
