Tesla 'Office' mode in a Melbourne park

We set the Tesla to “Office” mode. Technically, it’s just a profile like for any driver, but with the seat set right back and up. Peaceful in the park, and sheltered from the Melbourne drizzle. Cup of tea on hand, via the thermos.

Air con without an engine. No interruptions, very productive.

The #Tesla includes four powered USB-C ports (such as for laptops), two wireless charging pads (for phones), large screen, web browser, Zoom and camera, synced calendar and contacts and its own internet connection.

Neat! I think I could do with one of those trays and do some mobile officing too 😁

    1. Jane Wilson Hilton: Yes. The tray is handy to keep the laptop stable. I bought it from Tessories Australia back in July 2022 (while waiting for our Tesla delivery). But, now Tessories Australia no longer seem to list this "Steering Wheel Tray Table" product code G0010A.

Tessories now lists a larger "Workstation Desk", that doesn't attach to the steering wheel: https://tessories.com.au/product/tesla-workstation-desk/. Currently out of stock.

If only the V2L! How good would that be 😁

    1. Chris Rollie Yes, I’d love vehicle to load. The Tesla USB-C gives enough power to charge laptops etc and the 12V socket powers our 50L fridge. But I’d like V2L for cooking and emergency uses.

Ability to have AC, lights etc. on at rest is one of the big pluses of EVs
